I think a lot of noobs know 10th planet because joe rogan is the best spokesman for Bravo and links everything in ufcs with a 10th planet moves. The new guys see and hear that and think 10th planet is the end all be all

I bought Brandon's Video and I thought it was good. I was looking forward to see how he was going to do at ADCC. Very disappointed that he didn't go. I want to see him compete as well.
I enjoy learning the 10th Planet system, and I think RG has some merit, but I have yet to see a strong presence of it among TOP competitors where they use it obviously to get the submission.
Pls tell me if I'm wrong.

Ralek is 18 and fights his 2nd fight in DREAM against a tough 14-8 russian fighter and taps him in under 5 minutes.

Just to give you guys a quick update:
1) Brandon Quick claims to have trained with Jean Jacques Machado, and received his purple belt from that academy (in a thread over at UFC blog for UFC news, UFC rumors, fighter interviews and event previews/recaps | MMAjunkie.com)
Fact: JJM's academy has no record of Brandon Quick ever training there, or even being promoted by Jean Jacques Machado.
2) Brandon Quick claimed to have gotten his brown belt/shirt from Eddie Bravo
(in a thread over at UFC blog for UFC news, UFC rumors, fighter interviews and event previews/recaps | MMAjunkie.com)
Fact: Brandon Quick never received a brown belt, or even a purple belt from Eddie Bravo.
3) Brandon Quick claimed to have trained with a character named David Dunn ( Submissions 101), and it was assumed that maybe it was there that he received these mysterious rankings.
Fact: Dunn said that Brandon had only trained with him for a bit, and that the promotions did not come through him.
So basically in short, there is no traceable lineage of to where any of Brandon Quick's promotions have come from, its just been confirmed that they are in fact *NOT* from David Dunn, Jean Jacques Machado, or Eddie Bravo. In all honesty this is beginning to seem more and more Gene Simco like as the story unfolds.

Like I said on the other thread, dude you kick ass. Eddie needs more guys like you, and less guys like Brandon Quick and Sensei Ari Bolden.
I've got to hand it to Brandon though, he's accomplished a pretty impressive feat. He's skipped White Belt, Blue Belt, and Purple Belt, and just went straight to Brown Belt. The only other person that was able to get a jump that far (but to Purple, not to Brown) was Sensei Ari Bolden. Ironic that both of those guys decided to go to 10thPJJ. Oh well, like I said Forumnewb, your the man.
