Brandon Quick (outspoken bravo student) challenged in the UG

you know what? the pressure could be internal.. meaning his "real" students could finally be fed up by guys like brandon and Ari... Remember, it was a bravo student that outed ari.

Eddie COULD have chosen to back Quick, but he didn't. He could have walked up to quick and said "yeah dude, I'll back up your brown belt" but he didn't. I think this split is internal beef, and has nothing to do with fake belts. We haven't heard the real issue yet. If I had to guess (AND THIS IS PURELY A GUESS. IE: SOMETHING I MADE UP IN MY HEAD AND NOT AT ALL TRUE) I would guess that Brandon Quick is behind on some payment that Bravo feels he is owed.

That's usually while most of these splits come about in my experience.

i agree, probably about money or that eddie is trying to make it seem like his association is more legit than it is. eddie completely threw brandon under the bus.

wonder what eddie is gonna do with Ari... Brandon being thrown under the bus could have been an aftershock of all the heat he got from the ari promotion. Add this to the fact that there are eddie bravo students posting in the UG that stated that they don't like ari and brandon.... seems like there is some internal strife at 10th planet. And you know what? They should be pissed, imagine if you are a purple/brown under eddie and you have trained with him for years and paid tuition for years. Now some schmuk is gonna call himself a purple under eddie also? That can't be kosher. Imagine that you trained with eddie for years and opened a gym under 10th planet. You are also paying your fees to eddie along with the tuition that you paid for years... Now this guy who is clearly not a purple is your "equal". That won't be kosher.

Well also keep in mind that Ari never lied to Eddie, Brandon did. Whatever mistakes happened with Ari's promotion was Eddie's mistake, so throwing Ari under the bus means taking himself down also. Throwing Brandon under the bus, clears his own name. He's now a victim also.

Eddie stated that he looks at knowledge of the system, not ability. What a joke. I understand holding someone to that standard because of physical limitations (age or disease), but Ari is a young man.

I'm surprised noone has mentioned Jerome yet! He was fucked over by Eddie too. Yes, there is a shitload of turmoil going on within 10th Planet right now. It's the reason why so many prospective affiliates are taking a step back or falling through completely. In the grand scheme of things the legitimacy of Brandon or Ari's rank means shit when you consider that Eddie is going to online ranking. Atleast these guys are actually doing some training, not looking at videos on a computer and rolling on the living room floor. And for the Cali clique, if you wanna call out Brandon and Ari for not legitimizing 10th Planet rank then find the balls to confront Eddie since his idea will completely erase any legitimacy at all. And of course what good is a 10th Planet belt anyway if Eddie is going to refuse to recognize it when it's convenient for himself.
