yea i got it straightened out, i didnt want to ask the sensei, i thought it might of sounded like i was being a pussy and not taking the slams

but he said once they lift you up i should have let them go and started over again, because in competition the ref would have ended it

but the slam part i didnt get and them not telling me to let go i didnt get but im not gonna tell the sensei his browns are slamming the snot out of me.... that would sound gay to talk shiz about his students

what evs.... should have talked to the sensei earlier, but thought i was disrespecting in some way

good looking out tho dawg

[sarcasm]Also, Is it legal to break someone's arm in Judo competition?[/sarcasm] That's just as subtle as a slam I suppose.
Yes you are right trying to lift someone for a slam from an armbar is a pretty stupid defense snd in noway am I recommending to use it as a defense.

However IF someone is capable of lifting you (i.e you have a crap armbar) regardless of the tech and you continue to try and apply the tech whilst lifted you are essentially giving them the ok to try and slam you, so don't whine about being slammed.

If you dont want to get slammed then when you get lifted let go of the submission.

Yeah they should have told you the rules.... But probably like you they didn't want to feel like they were being a PUSSY by saying "hey you gotta let go when I lift you"...

Best thing to do is study the rules beforehand to find out what is legal hat way you wont upset anyone

I whole heartedly agree with the crappy armbar, but I mean when someone has their opponent in a tight armbar and someone tries the "lift and slam" as an escape, that's just dumb. It seems we agree.

And third, any threads started by Sambo234 or I, it means we dont want you posting in them, k? Because you are USELESS when it comes to being serious about pretty much any thread on the grappling forum and are nothing but a smart ass/troll. The only time you are serious is when you talk about your training partners' grappling credentials or your "extensive combat background"

We dont want your input in our threads k? Now fuck off.

Come make me fuck off kid. Yes Judo is the best base art for grappling, but i've never claimed it was complete. You have claimed on MANY occiasons that you could easily sub us Judo guys. You're just pissed cuz ,me and Q and the other Judo guys don't tremble at your one season of wrestling and your BJJ blue belt. Do you have good grappling skills, probably, but that don't make you god

Hey man, if you think I was knocking you I wasnt. I've been tapped by guys bigger and smaller than me, but either way i feel a win is a win. If you can't beat the bigger guy, then train and find a way to do so. That's the "art" in martial arts
