I just take offense to these kids who's only exposure to MA's is there blue in BJJ, and they have little respect for other arts, especially ones they have never trained with. I have given BJJ, Wrestling, Sambo, even Aikido and TKD props on this board. Meanwhile guard trashes anyting that isn't BJJ or wrestling, despite having no other experience
Hmm..when have i "trashed" Judo? I never said Judo sucks did I? I train with a BB Judo guy, "so i totally believe in crosstraining"

It's been told that Judo Black Belts will have the approximate same ground game as a BJJ Blue belt

Depends upon the individuals. Judo belts are notoriously varied - there are world champions who are first degree black belts (in Russia in particular they don't bother getting higher ranks). There are also guys who get their black belts for putting in time ... working out once a week for many years, or refereeing, or helping out at the club.

Now, you might think that most BJJ blue belts could beat Nastula or Yoshida, but I kind of doubt any of the ones at my club could

i dont think anyone says on the ground judo compares to bjj...but teh top judo guys can compete with the top bjj guys...however, judo is adifferent style of fighting with different rules. in a judo match, a bjj guy wouldnt do that well under judo rules (olympic with i think 3 second ground time and takedowns are huge)

BWAHAHAHA! Doubles for the ASSjudoboxer! Whata day, whata day! BTW, don't mention "art" in your posts. You don't know how to write correctly and you speak about "art"? "Art" is a concept you are too limited to understand!
