I am definatly going to Start in January so guys, I can't beleive so many seem to start around this age and do so well. I really can't wait now.
In the meantime, if anyone can suggest good bjj websites, reading material, dvd's etc I would really appriciate it.

Both my brothers are doing boxing, kick boxing, one has been in Thailand improving his muay thai, but I think BJJ is more techinical and I really want to start learning.

Any comment on my age issue?
bro im 36 and I started when I was 30 or 31 just go for it and have some fun.

I just started at 26. I'm doing MT too. You'll be fine, just make sure your doc approves from whatever procedure you're doing.

For what it's worth, I started in August after having relatively minor shoulder surgery in February.

Where the fuck do people get the idea that they are too "old" to start when they are still in their 20's or 30's? Fucking baffles me. I started at 33 without the though of being too old ever crossing my mind even once. I mean too old for what?
