What's the scoop on Champion Jujitsu out in Arlington Heights? Blackbelt named Assou? The site says they're a GB affiliate and he was issued a sixth dan by a Roberto Lage? There's no pricing available but he seems pretty legit. Rock and a hard place at the moment and I just need to get back in the mix. Any students of his here?

It's a pretty laid back and fun place to train. Mark the owner is always open to letting new people check it out and we also have Open Mats on Saturday. There are a few guys there who used to train and Champion but I'm not sure if they are on this forum.

Valko and some other gyms are nice depending on where you live.

Don't go to the Assou place. MMA underground has chatted a bunch about him. His credentials are ...vague, to say the least.
