Another cauliflower question

I just noticed a small pea sized are of cauliflower ear the other day. It's under a fold, so it's not really noticeable. I'm not sure if it's worth getting drained, or if it's even possible at this point.

How do I know when it's hardened? The last day I trained was Monday. I'm guessing I got it then, but I don't recall ever having a sore ear or getting hit. I'm assuming that, even if I got it Monday, at this point it's too late to drain, but how do I know for sure?

Also, once you start getting cauliflower are you at higher risk of it spreading? Do I need to wear headgear from now on?

If you don't care if your ears get like that, don't wear headgear.

If you want to be safe, wear it.

If you tough it and it's hardened, then it's hardened.

Feels about the same as regular cartilage. Definitely not soft like a blood blister or anything. Probably too late to drain.

Is that area going to be more susceptible to getting cauli in the future?

I've heard that it is more susceptible, but I've also heard that if you let it heal fully then it's not.

If it feels like regular cartilage then it's too late to drain.
