I don't see Ryan Hall's name on there but I'm assuming he's gonna do it. If so, he's still a brown. Cake walk for Ryan or what? I say 4 heel hooks to gold.

Heel hooks are not allowed in IBJJF rules. Also I dont see his name and the list provided is supposed to be the final one so looks like he isnt going. Also saw Travis Lutter is on there as well but didnt see Monson. Ill be there competing and watching and this tourney is always one of my favs as its well run and there are usually alot of good matches.

names have been known to not show up at first. I'd be surprised if Ryan didn't go, but who knows.

No modified rules for no-gi huh? Does that mean you can't knee bar until brown belt division?

the only rules that are modified for no-gi are the ones involving grips on the uniform.

Kneebars at brown, heel hooks at Grappler's Quest.

I also think it's worth mentioning that Brown is no cake walk for anyone. Ryan got submitted by a kneebar at the no-gi pan-ams by an old member of this forum not one month ago.

But at GQ no-gi, you can kneebar at novice.

Isn't Hayliks a blackbelt and also a super badass wrestler? I don't think Ryan would be facing anyone Haylik's caliber right? Or is Hayliks still brown, not sure.
