2009 World No-Gi Jiu-Jitsu Tournament info?
I told my gym mates about the live broadcast in NOGI.com but then I was asked who was fighting and I didn`t know what to say.
Any list of confirmed participants so far?

btw, the list has been updated. Josh Barnett entered in the BB division. Also, watch out for my friend Marcello Salazar to make waves again this year in the Medium-Heavy division. And im sure he'll be in the absolute.

Read Monson signed too. Probably going against Barnett in the same division? Also Hermes Franca is going in the absolute.

On the official list, I see no Monson.
I DO, however, see a Nate Diaz and a Nick Diaz. Which no-one's mentioned, as far as I can tell. Could be interesting. ^_^ Also really scary how big they weigh in for this considering what they fight. Middle Heavy? I mean, jeez. 85kg?
...wow.
Plus Hermes Franca is in at Masters Middle and Masters Absolute. Dan Hornbuckle at Purple Middle Heavy. That's about it for big names.
Looks like it's gonna be fun!

This event is gonna be cool. I'm curious to see how Josh contends with the IBJJF rules regarding foot placement during leg attacks and lack of heel hooks. I'd also like to see what his bottom game looks like against good guard passers.
