2 tournies in a weekend?

the senishow is happening soon and quite a few of the fellas from my gym are thinking of entering the gi comp on the saturday and then doing the no gi comp on the sunday.
has anyone tried this and does anyone have any tips?

should'nt be a problam at all if you train regularly. Some tournaments have the no-gi right after the gi and then the absolute directly after that. The matchs are'nt going to be any longer than 7 minutes so it really should'nt be that big of a deal. IF your worried just pre-reg for the one saturday and then see how you feel..if u feel good compete on sunday too.

i have been put in for the absolute and the heavyweight at the gi event and am going novice for the no gi.
im currently weighing 210lbs at 5,8 but would like to be down to 190lb for the day.
lots of fucking training ahead.

IF you are in shape, it shouldn't be a problem, I have done it before, just try to stay injury free on the first day.

any tips on food and stuff for keeping myself concentrated during the 48 hours.

I've done it a few times for Naga, it isn't a bid deal really. A kid I know just wrestled in the state championships in wrestling and then did a regional judo tournament the next day. That is three days of competition. He did well in all.
