when hitting a heavy bag... (noob question)

should I be using just wraps, or wraps and gloves?

Should I be using both and switching it up or what?

Thanks.

Always wear both wraps and gloves. Only a fool will tell you otherwise.

What about the shaolin monks that punch brick walls 2000 times a day to make their knuckles harder than diamonds?

usw wraps and gloves. Anyone who hits with any degree of power needs to protect their hands

You can condition your head to get bashed in with a shovel by bashing it with a shovel every day....but does that mean it's necessarily a good idea...?

At least some some sort of bag gloves...with some wrist support...

Take care of your tools...just as a carpenter doesn't just leave his tools out in the rain, you shouldn't just expose your hands to unnecessary damage for the sake of "conditioning"...
