Thank you KK, and ya, fighting a guy with reach/skill like that does suck. I justread your sticky on "Closing the Gap" the other day, and will definetly be incorporating that on my free training time.

Let me know how those drills work out for you if you actually try them. Very few people give direct feedback on actually continously using drills they've gotten from here.

Learn to defend leg kicks perhaps?
I know he's trying deliberately trying to set up the high kick but the number of people who don't keep a good, tight high guard against someone who kicks so well to the head baffles me.

Man one thing about Remy (as I'm sure you might now) is his legs are like baseball bats. He even uses the numbing agents in his fights, so he could kick a car door off the hinges and not feel a thing. I would imagine just being able to check his kicks would still be a pain in the ass unless you condition your legs just as good as he does or better.
Them Holland fighters are no joke with leg-kicking. I don't know how many times I've seen Hoost and Remy kick people's legs right out from under them with what looks like not that strong of a kick.
But, Remy's height also makes for false senses of security I think. People don't understand until they fight him how accurate he is even with his legs. So, they get lulled into that mechanism where when someone brings up a leg you automatically bring your hands DOWN to try and cut the leg off at the pass, and then BAM, lights out.
