Nicknamed "The Filipino Flash", Nonito is an American Filipino Fighter who had one of, if not THE year's best upsets against Vic Darchinyan, hard hitting brawler from Australia by way of Armenia. Because of the recent flux of imported punchers from the Philippines on the heels of Pacquiao's stardom (Amonsot, Bautista, Mayol), Nonito has gone largely ignored up until this point. Both he and his Brother Glenn are good Fighters.

At one point these two were training at Wild Card Gym, and the Filipino press was there to Interview the guy they were calling "the next great Filipino Champion", Czar Amonsot. Nonito's Father told them "hey, that's the next great Filipino Champion right there" pointing at Nonito. They left, just walked away completely blowing the Donaire Family off. After Nonito knocked out Darchinyan, he got calls from the Filipino press wanting him to go overseas for Interviews and TV appearances. lol

I'm a big fan of Nonito, he fought a very good fight agaisnt Vic, I always thought Vic was very overrated though.

Vic hits like a mule kicks, but he's got some of the crappiest form I've ever seen. I think had Glenn boxed a little better he probably could have whooped Vic's ass, too.

But that was such a pretty pretty left-hook.

My favorite part of the affair, after the fight Vic looks to Billy Hussein and asks: "the fuck I get hit with?"

Hussein solemnly replies: "It was the left-hook Vic, the left-hook."
