Has anyone ever trained or did a seminar with "Razor" Rob McCollugh

This Saturday I am doing a 4 hour seminar with Rob for $30 (to me, thats a fantastic deal). But yeah, I was wondering if anyone has had any training time with him. Just really looking forward to it and was curious if you could share your experiences.

I have met him several times but never trained with him. he has good stand up technique and if I am not mistaken Tiki usually triains with him also. It sounds like $30 is a good deal.

I will be at that seminar too. I get in free though since I will be in a grappling match before the nights fights. I just found out that the matches will actually be in the cage. It ought to be an intresting experience.

LOL, my match will be amateur as amateur gets. We were supposed to just have some friendly grappling matches after the seminar with people from other schools, but I guess they needed some filler for the nights fights so they are tossing us in the cage.

No personal experience but his videos/dvds are top notch and i can tell that Rob has a really clear way of showing technique which is impressive. Being a good fighter does not translate to being a good teacher but i think Rob is both.

Jerbone, thats pretty cool. Its a small world. Where are you from?/ Where do you train at? One of my teammates, Brandon Rondon, is fighting on that card as well.

Small world indeed. I am going up there with the guys from Lone Star MMA in Tyler which is where I started training at. Since then I have moved to Houston and train down here at the Houston Brazilian Jujistu Club. I won't be sticking around after my fight is over, the casinos will be calling my name. Where do you train at? Oh by the way I have no MT experience at all, and am attending since my buddy's are dragging me out for my bday.

I train at Impact Martial Art Centers in Bossier City. ahhh the river boats. They are unkind to me. Hopefully they are more friendly to you.
