My First Fight

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JDc9MEG9EfA
Im in the Blue 139 pounds
*spoilers below*

I know it was a very sloppy fight, its crazy how fast paced everything is when ur in the ring, I knew what to do but I was gassing and my body just wouldnt respond. It was my fault for not training harder and having bad cardio. The ref said when I turned my back it showed that i forfitted please believe i didnt i would have rather been knocked out then quit my heart was there but my body was gassed and i was rocked hard. The head kick around 4:18 almost knocked me out from then on it was just in robot mode.

lots of haymakers

You should to not back up so much, you were always walking back. But not bad for your first fight, train hard and you will win the next

Alot of the gassing isn't conditioning, it was the way you were fighting. If you throw strictly bombs and haymaker punches trying to knock the guy out with every punch it doesn't matter how good of shape your in you gonna gas quickly.
The good things are that your aggressive and have some speed and coordination. You need to go back to the gym and spar, spar, spar... get lots of ring time develop a style, you ability to judge distance, timing, and ability to set a good reasonable pace will all come. Most guys fight like that thier first fight, no worries though, good job for your first time and stay at it.

Hey man well done, I thought that was really good for a first fight
Good work rate and I'm loving the big over hand rights, but please , please , please work on defending those body kicks cause they looked painfull.
Often people gas on their first fight due to all the nervous energy, and cause they're not relaxed and breathing properlly (well I know I did)
Keep up the good work

You did good for your first fight man. Dont sweat it. Same thing happened to me my first amateur mma fight. I knew what to do but my body wouldn't do it. I lost also. But I learned alot from it and had a lot better fight the 2nd time. Just keep progressing and learn from it. That's part of what amateur fighting is for.
