do you realize how "young" Kyokushin is? not to mention it's offshoots?

Cowboy Pete is just having some fun dude...

On a side note Andy Hug from his Karate days looks a lot like my first instructor. Just a big fricken dude who is really flexible and had a mullet and a mustache. That guy was so dang strong.

EDIT:

Finished watching the second highlight. Awesome tribute to the guy. The fighters talking at the end practically had me in tears.

My bad

It's just a knee-jerk reaction when a young punk who still gets his mom to drive him to his McBJJ class starts yelling TMA TMA TMA.

I'll try to refrain in the future.

Back on topic: I'd agree, Aaron, that tribute is extremely moving. Hard to watch without feeling it.

Hehe sorry. I continued with it because I thought you were one of those guys who claim put Kyokushin Karate on a pedestal separate from other "TMAs" because they have full contact fighting. I'm currently training Shotokan Karate myself.

No, they aren't a TMA because they added the Thai low kick.

Get your facts straight.

I know of Andy Hug but haven't had the opportunity to see a lot of live action stuff showing him. Great vids KK.
