Learn how to use a jump rope, do some conditioning.

Why not start now?

dont do any technical work on your own. just condition yourself and if you have a good boxing coach be ready for the best workouts on earth

Conditioning.

The day you go in, don't think you're going to become a boxing master. Just do what your coach says, start by tucking your chin and keeping your hands up.

what they said. just know that while it may seem a little "slow" at first, you are being taught the basics that are important. Enjoy

If you are currently working different body parts on alternating days (I.E: Mon: chest Wed: legs....etc), stop. It will benefit you more to start circuit training, doing complexes, or high rep full body movements (burpees) before starting. This lets your body get used to using all your muscles and recovering Vs. just a few. Obviously, jump rope and cardio training will help.
