Standup Gyms in NYC?
Hi, new to the standup forum. Was wondering if anyone could recommend a credible MT or Boxing gym or even mma gym with a credible standup coach in NYC that offers atleast 2 hours of training during the day. I wrestled throughout h.s. and right now do bjj at night, I have no experience in any standup art but I'm hoping to find somewhere I could during the day. Sorry if this type of question gets posted alot.

Aside from the ones listed above, if you're near Queens or willing to travel, Sitan Muay Thai is located there (in Astoria). They produce many fighters and have the best win-loss record of all muay thai schools in the tri-state area (NY-NJ-CT).

Hit up NYSanDa. You will not be dissapointed. Their standup has a good depth to it so you can mix with up and comers, amateurs, and pros.
Solid gym and coaching staff. I try to come out there once or twice a year if I can.

Just come by 5 Points and check it out. And I even though I go to 5 Points, if you want go check out the Wat as well. See which gym is the right fit for you.

(caught this thread late...)
Do you train in any of the other programs? How is the Kali program? I've always been fascinated by Kali [too many Bourne movies]. Thanks.
