Which School Should I Go To?

Where i live there are no wrestling, mma, kickboxing, or boxing schools. my choice is okinawan karate, tkd, or a bjj school. Im not lookin for anything specific just to improve one aspect of my game for now since i can only afford to go to one of the schools at this time. which do you guys think would be more helpful?

Facts about me -
I work at a local health club where i can do strength and conditioning for free.
I weight 210 but can diet to 190 in a month (185 pounder for now?).
Im 5'9.
No prior experience besides a year of self training using dumbbells, ropes, a heavy bag and instructional tapes, all my workouts are technical, i dont just try to chris leben the bag.
I can hold my own with the big idiot in the gym.

i was thinkin the karate school would be most intresting for now but would it be the right choice?

by the way WAR leben lol

If those are your choices BJJ for sure. Look for Judo though, it is widely available and cheap. Do both if you can.

I agree that BJJ is the most practical of your choices if you want to fight in MMA. But I don't necessarily agree that it is the best way to start learning.

The majority of pro MMA fighters (particularly those who are very good) started by learning a different form of martial arts prior to MMA/BJJ. Taekwondo and Karate can be very useful for learning basic flexibility, dexterity, agility and overall balanced movment. I think that by building a base in TKD, Karate etc........ will only help you to learn and incorporate other forms of fighting with greater ease. I personally believe that TKD is a great base to start from. The flexibility and total body control you will develop will make learning more practical combat style disciplines far easier to learn. I.E: BJJ, Muay Thai, Boxing

Take what interests you most. Whatever you'll stick with is the best choice.
