Muay Boran Demo (Very Beautiful)

http://youtube.com/watch?v=Q45LKaGnVrY

I know this is not a real fight and it is staged but its still really beautiful to see the roots of what we do, The technique is so damn crisp and even though its not a real fight it still looks like they are beating the crap out of each other.

You wont notice its fake until the near ending

I could tell it was fake from the first exaggerated reaction to being hit...

Very nice choreography though.

nice choreo

unfortunately its not muay boran
for it to be so it'd have to fall into a regional style
they wrap their hands like a muay korat fighter, but the binding isn't correct, the handwraps are prewound, or supposed to be

remember that muay boran is truly an all around style, there is quite a large emphasis on grappling and throwing. Very hard to find clips of real mb as muay korat isn't really known well, and muay lopburee is a dead style
the only commerically available clips of authentic mb is the muay chaiya ones by kruupreang. Muay Chaiya has undergone a bit of a resurrection lately but the others are hard to come by
