How Bas' workout tapes changed my life

Alright, so the thread title might be pushing it, but ever since I started using Bas' workout types, I've noticed some positive changes:

- my gas tank is fuller
- my combinations are more fluid and flow from one to another smoothly
- the way I move my body when striking and stringing together attacks is more efficient and effective
- now that i can comfortable handle hand weights during the entire 3min round boxing tape, my hand speed has gone through the roof
- my breathing is better and i don't get winded as easily

My favorite ones are the boxing and the all-around fighting, since I think they complement my regular training with a targeted skill set the best. With the boxing tape, I like to either a) do it on the heavy bag, or b) use hand weights. With the all-around fighting, well let's just say I try my hardest to keep up with the sprawls, which are killer.

The worthiest investment I've made in ages. Bas's MMA workout tapes -- if you don't have them already, go get them.

I've been doing the same routine for three weeks and I've pretty much gotten the same results. My standup is much crisper and I process instruction much better when I roll. The biggest improvement for me is my breathing and throwing combos with more fluiditiy.

I've put the workouts on an mp3 player so I can do the exercises on the road.

They are great workouts. A great tool for a recreational martial artist. But doing sprawls and combos to a recorded voice can only take us so far. It is a good supplement to help us stay more fit, but no replacement for class and sparring time.

I kick people in the groin, "apologize" and sucker punch, and break people's legs for saying that about my wife. Wait, I'm not married. Doesn't matter.

Oh yeah, I can bodysquat/jumpsquat for a long time thanks to his videos.

Damn that is funny, as is Bas.

I don't think I have used the tape enough yet to notice an increase in cardio, but my combos are WAY better than what they were prior to use of his audio tracks. They flow together better and come off faster and more crisp than before. Plus now I use liver shots more often, and they work lol.

Bas is the man.

Yup, they're a workout, not a sparring session, or coaching, that's all they claim to be and they do a damn good job. If anyone was to expect to become a great striker by just using those tapes alone then of course they're hilariously stupid.
