There seems to be a trend where someone will think that they're ambidextrious, but whenever they switch, they almost always circle in the same direction as before and all they do is throw the jab. I think being "ambidextrious" is extremely overrated, many people think they can switch, they start forming bad habits, then become equally shitty on both sides.

IMO training both sides takes a lot of time and effort and unless there's a lot of dedication. For the most part, I don't think it's worth it.

EDIT: Why in the hell would you be circling left in a southpaw stance?

Silva is a southpaw. Southpaws always have the advantage in boxing because they are shadowing a right handed fighter. Most notable pro boxers eventually switch to soutpaw. (Bernard Hopkins).

Hey dude IM THE SAME WAY. Im left handed and right footed. (my brother is right handed and left footed) Anyways it is a total advantage. Sometimes i swithc from south paw 2 regular but think that just makes ur kicks even more powerful plus your strong hand is the jab.
You can make interesting combos and your strong on both sides of your body
