I do have one question that echos what Aaron said: Why on earth is this called a "Brazillian" kick??? I was doing this in Shito-ryu 20 years ago. It's called a change-up kick, or like Aaron stated, a fake front to roundhouse. I'm just curious where the brazillian tag came from.
Regardless, it's an excellent technique that will often either surprise your opponent or enable you to slip the kick around the guard.

The kick is actualy a very basic kick in TKD and other arts especialy in Kyokushin. I think it's called the brazilian kick in the KB world because the first once to perform it on a big scene (K1) were the world class Kyokushin karateka from brazil like Filho and Feitosa.
