I find my rear-hand hook to be my most awkward punch... i find it very difficult to throw in a coordinated fashion or with any kind of efficiency. But when throwing it to the body, it gets a bit better.... its interesting that you describe it as being (potentially) most people's bread and butter punch.

When i throw it i remind myself of some sort of gimpy street fighter trying to land his haymaker.
I agree I feel akward doing the RH to the head

less with the body punch but Firzas says I throw it way to much and should be doing the left hook.

So this bread and butter stuff seems weird to me

But overall this is a good work out. I agree 100% about the lead right and feeling out one punch at a time as part of working out.

My only diff is that I would then add combos into the routine.

I liked the right had stuff and used to do something very smiler with the punching the heavy bag away and pushing it away from me.

im gonna start this, i usually work combinations, but this will make my punches more crisp and i would work on odd pucnhes(cross to the body, double cross). Should i do this everyday?

When I do heavy bag rounds I just work explosive combos, that way I get fatigue (both cardio, and muscle) and explosiveness, AND technique.
However, if I'm working on a weak point on a specific punch I will do it in that fashion

I really agree with the muscle and cardio point you made. I've been going to the gym a ton over the past few months, and my arms haven't felt as tired as they did until I started hitting the heavy bag.

I'd also like to point out to people, if your cardio sucks like mine. I just took my time and did every punching drill 25 times instead with best possible form and power. And It took me just over 20 minutes to complete the work out.
