I think someone once did the match...the temp difference in a liter of h2o between body temp, and freezing, does not equal much actual food. (about 74 C) A can of root-beer has 170 C ...take that for what it's worth. In the end for me, cold h2o is more psychologically satisfying, so I drink that.

I only slightly understood your post Chaghatai.

I have:
-16 oz sparring gloves
-4 oz open palm grappling/sparring gloves
-CSI Open palm bag gloves
-soon to be shin guards
-Sprawl shorts
-soon to be short grappling shorts
-mouth piece (although its a pos and i need a nice one)
-ankle supports
-rash guard (although my classes are short and i use a regular shirt)
-2 pairs of raps
-prewrap
-hand/foot tape (my feet are tender)
-kneepad (i dont get to wrestle enough to build up my knees)

I'm only 16 though...

Does anyone use those mesh gym bags? Seems more convenient than having to lay everything out to air dry after a workout. And possibly eliminates the need for those deodorizer balls...

I only just started with kickboxing a few months ago, but what is the point of having all that stuff in the bag?

I understand the shorts and shirts and stuff, but why 2 headgears and all that?

Also, my sparring gloves and bag gloves are the same? Is that bad?

And MT means muay thai I guess right?

Pre-wrap is the brown material that you are supposed to put under the tape. It really helps because the pre-wrap will stick to itself for a minute or so maybe, and in that time you can tape directly over that, then taking the tape off later is a cinch and doesn't pull off all your hair, also.

It really works wonders.

I hate to quote myself, but can some one answer these questions for me, I am kind of new to this and I want to know if I'm doing this right

Ugh I hate the steel cups, but I don't trust those plastic one when sparring MT. What I did was stick the steel MT cup in a normal jock strap. It makes it a lot more comfortable though its not as secure. What I would like to see is a western style cup thats just made out of steel.
