Ya it seems to be a Russian style of boxing. If you ever seen any Systema tapes they do the same thing. Very relaxed shoulders and arms, and throwing the punch completely from the hip. Its like they have a flail attached at the shoulder and just throw it out there. Seems to work well enough, both fedor and igor use it and they're prolly the hardest punchers around.

to be honest i think that alex's is a much better natural boxer than fedor... His hands are very fast for a hw mma fighter.
