Defense drills?
Hello,
Does anyone here know any good drills for defending the head from strikes, and getting used to punches coming at you and you defending from them. Like blocking punches, dodging, slipping and etc. Good drills?
Any vids? or ideas?
Here are some nice pics for you to enjoy.

I had an answer for you but then I saw those pictures and got distracted......................
Seriously, there are a lot. One I like is walled a wall drill or a corner drill. Stand against a wall/the ropes/ in a corner and have a partner throw punches at you. Start with the jab and defend that then slowly add more punches and combos. the point is that you can't run and you have to stand and block (or parry or slip).
Once you get good at that, you can add a counter or two.
Another one I do sometimes is to drop my hands and use my footwork and head movement alone to defend. Make sure your partner doesn't go too hard because you will get hit sometimes.

The Wall drill mentioned above is excellent.
After your Defense is solid, start hitting back.
For MMA, add Knees and Elbows and CLinches (Headgear and Pads!)

A Slipping Drill:
Put your Lead Hand behind your back.
Have your partner throw jabs only.
Practice parrying, catching, scooping, Swaying Back, Slipping.
When you slip, your rear hand covers as a safety.

If you don't have a partner you can get a double end bag.

I have one, but I think doing actual drills with a partner feels more realistic. Since it is, lol

A good practice I like is limited sparring;
Get a partner (prefferably with big boobs, in your case). Power or no power, it's okay, so girls are cool to train with as long as they have some decent reach.
Basically, just do sparring but limit the punches thrown. Say, you do one round only doing straight punches. Then one round only doing hooks and cuts.
For fun, when you get hit, you have to drop and do 10 push ups; make it more competative.
The idea is to still have some randomness for realism, but no go full out sparring; you can concerntrate your efforts on correct technique for blocking but still in a realistic fashion.
You can also do this with kicks. Say, only do round kicks and front kicks and nothing else; you'll get good at blocking them fast.
Do this sort of sparring for 20 - 30 minutes a day to show improvement.

Get a tennis ball
Attach a string/rope to it
Attach the string/rope to the ceiling
Now stand close to the tennis ball. Stand CLOSE.
Hit the tennis ball and slip when it bounces back. Dont let it touch ur head at all costs.
To make it harder after a while do this:
Close your eyes and hit the tennis ball and open ur eyes when u hear the impact on the wall and then try and slip.
