He just said:

"I've had my cup broken that way. I don't do a spinning side-kick."

So who knows?

Nice video, I also have a q about the turning or not turning of the head. When you dont look do you still spin around to a stance where you can block kicks and throw more shpts or are you backing out after throwing the kick?

Not necessarily.

You guys should stop thinking of the back kick as a "spinning" technique. There is no "spin" in the back kick. It's a linear technique. It's the most efficient way to get your rear foot to your target in one motion.

Again, this is not a "spinning" technique!!! It's not a spinning back kick, it's just a back kick.

Kabuki, I'm not sure if one of your comments was directed at me but, everybody here acknowledges that Kryllo is a hard kicker. He's very good. It doesn't mean that his technique is perfect and there aren't aspects where he could tune his technique. That rocking back on the heel is not good. It screws up your balance. This is particularly noticeable in the hook kick videos when he forces himself back to position instead of naturally shifting back. Without even seeing him kicking from his off side, I will venture a guess that Kryllo has a tendency to "hop" back to position when he hook kicks with his weak side. Too much weight on the heel.

If it was about people critiquing his techniques, it was aimed more at the people who post comments on youtube to him on how to improve.

Thanks, these are great videos. I've been looking around for technique videos lately, John Hackleman has a good spinning back kick video here, under the 'combatives' section
