Anyone Trained at Camp Undefeated?

Hello,

I will be moving to New York in 2 weeks, and I am curious if anyone has trained at Camp Undefeated? I really like the fact that they have an actual cage, and their schedule of classes is very inclusive (MT, Boxing, Wrestling, BJJ Gi, and BJJ no Gi). What more could you ask for? They come across as a pure MMA gym, opposed to a BJJ gym with MT or an MT gym with a BJJ instructor.

After some google searching, my only concern is price and management. I heard it is considerably more expensive than other gyms, such as Fight house. Also, I heard the owner is persistently trying to put together a fight team. As I have not decided whether I will want to compete, I want to make sure that non-competing students wont be treated like crap, or dummies for the fighters.

Haha, I know the name sounds presumptuous, but I think it has more to do with training mentality than record. (cant say for sure, just guessing).

lol, I am getting the sense that it is a McDojo. Wired, it looked really legit on the website.

I wouldn't dismiss it as a McDojo so quickly. I've never trained there, but my impression is that it's a decent gym that takes mma pretty seriously. Last time I checked out their website, it looked like their instructors had solid backgrounds.

I train at Ronin, which I highly recommend, but it might be worth visiting CU and some of the other mma gyms around the city before making your choice.

Most places offer a free lesson, I think.

Let us know what you decide.

I suspected that it was legit given the highly regarded teachers.

I actually stopped by Fight House on Saturday and really enjoyed it. There is such a variety of classes, which is great given that my work schedule is hectic. Ronin sounds great, but there doesnt seem to be as great of selection of classes. Would you agree?

My only hesitation with Fight House is that I am not sure if the gym produces fighters that compete. However, I do not plan on competing soon, so if I decide to become serious, I will cross that road when the time comes.
