1x Week Private Muay Thai or 3x Week Muay Thai

I have the chance to pay for privates once a week or 3x a week group class. The thing is I train Judo 5x week and I don't want to cut that time down. Is it beneficial to train Muay Thai 1x week privates instead of 3x week group access Muay Thai?

To start out I would take a private class until you can get your punches and movement down. Things like stance and fighting distance dont seem to be covered in group classes. Then maybe after you have a good grip on basics I would definitely switch to group classes.
I read a quote About learning fundamentals before you run into somebody elses fundamentals I think is what it said.

i dunno depends on how well the group classes are run. if its a smaller group class, then id do that. but if its a larger class where it will be harder to get personalized help, then start with the private lessons to get the basics and fundamentals, then go to group classes to learn techniques and stuff after you get your balance down

Group class. Its better to work in a group when you're first learning in my opinion. I didnt start taking privates till after about a year of muay thai.

The answer seems pretty obvious to me: 3 classes a week > 1 class a week.

i'd go with the three classes a week because kicking a heavy bag is always fun :-)

I agree with this.

thanks, for the answers. If possible should I take 3x privates a week instead of 3x week public. Should I rely soley on private classes?
