Is there going to be a main-event\One more high profile fight?? I really don't think a rashad evans vs thiago silva warrants as a "MAIN EVENT" no offence, it is a great fight, but not for the reasons that would make it a main event on what appears to be a mediocre fight card at best..
I personally don't htink it's worth the $49.99 and because of the misfortunes ufc has suffered with this card already(illness/injuries) I think this should be a spike special.
MAin card:
    * Rashad Evans vs. Thiago Silva
    * Tyson Griffin vs. Jim Miller
    * Carlos Condit vs. Paul Daley
    * Junior Dos Santos vs. Gabriel Gonzaga

# Joe Lauzon vs. Sam Stout
# Dan Lauzon vs. Cole Miller
# Martin Kampmann vs. Rory Markham
# Rafaello Oliveira vs. Sean Sherk
# Jake Ellenberger vs. Mike Pyle
# Ryan Jensen vs. Mark Munoz

It looks like a good fight card but when you break it down you can see alot of these guys are bouncing back from big loss'.

1.)Rashad comming of KO loss from machida vs thiago commin off a tKO over jardine.. sure it's a win but jardine doesn't do well against heavy hitters..
My pick rashad evans by KO

2.)Tyson Griffin vs jim miller - my nickname for griffin was "decision" but recently he figured out how to finish a fight.. Miller really hasn't had the showing he's looking for, he came up big against danzig but the technicality over maynard was too great.. To me this is griffin's chance to prove he's for real.. a finish in this fight show's he's not a one fight wonder. Flip the coin to miller, if he can weather this midget of a monster storm he's done his part... My pick griffin..
3.)condit vs daley - great fight, gonna be exciting, but what's it for?? contender status? title shot(most likely)?? without meaning, these guys shouldn't be fighting one another.
4.)SAntos vs gonzaga - I give it to dos santos, the guy is in a tear in the HW division literally blowing through(werdum) the smaller guys of the division or just beating the will to fight out of them(cro-cop) unfortunatly gonzaga is a different sized HW. Gonzaga has come back from his devistating loss to heavy hitting shane carwin, but has he really?? I pick gonzaga by ground-game but santos has a puchers chance.

Without a main-event this is a fun event to watch but not worth the money it cost to order it on PPV.. I'm disappointed so far but hopefully UFC brass can fill the gap on this card.

Ps i'm personally interested in the stout fight and kampmann fight, 2 guys I know can bring it everytime and would be nice to see them evolve further in the UFC.

Since Brock Lesnar first pulled out of UFC 106 people have been looking for answers. The more we found out, the more we noticed that Lesnar in much worse health than initially imagined. Lesnar has been living for over a year with a hole in his intestine and he finally had surgery to correct the issue.

UFC commissioner Dana White has said that Brock Lesnar will never fight again. Everytime he is asked the question he responds, "I don't know. We will have to wait and see." Wait no longer.

Brock's longtime friend and Jiu-Jitsu coach, Rodrigo "Comprido" Medeiros, said that Lesnar is "is getting better and that is the most important thing ... He will be fine and be fighting again within 6 months. I can just say that the heavyweights can stop laughing and get ready to start crying because the champion will be back soon."

Att General calls for National Gun Registry

Attorney General Holder Reveals Aggressive Gun Control In Response to Ft. Hood Terror Attack
WASHINGTON, Nov. 19 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Before the Senate Judiciary Committee November 18th, 2009, Attorney General Eric Holder revealed a stunningly broad and aggressive anti-gun agenda.
"The President of the United States asked that politicians not use the Ft. Hood attack to engage in 'political theater.' It appears those committed to attacking gun owners and the Second Amendment simply can't help themselves and are engaged in blaming guns and gun owners on the heels of this terrorist attack. Sadly it looks like 'politics as usual,'" said LEAA's spokesperson, Ted Deeds.

Attorney General Holder Reveals Aggressive Gun Control In Response to Ft. (http://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/attorney-general-holder-reveals-aggressive-gun-control-in-response-to-ft-hood-terror-attack-70535237.html)
After explaining and defending his decision to give enemy combatants constitutional protections and the right to public trial in civilian courts, Attorney General Holder revealed his support for a national gun owner registration scheme and authorizing the government to ban firearm possession for any person by merely adding that person's name to the terror watch list.
Drawing reasonable conclusions from what Holder publicly said, we now know:
Holder wants a national, permanent gun registration system administered by law enforcement. A registration of honest citizens that have cleared the federal background check for gun purchases with those records permanently retained by and shared among law enforcement.
Holder wants new federal authority to prohibit any person on the federal watch list (reported to be 400,000 names) from buying guns and supports confiscating guns from those on the list who possess them.
Transcribing General Holder: "The position of the Administration is that there should be a basis for law enforcement to share information about gun purchases." "... [It's not] inconsistent to allow law enforcement agencies to share that kind of information, for that information to be retained and then to be shared by law enforcement." "It seems incongruous to me that we would bar certain people from flying on airplanes because they are on the terrorist watch list and yet we would still allow them to posses weapons." {Emphasis added}
LEAA's Executive Director Jim Fotis said, "Those behind the badge don't believe more restrictions on honest gun owners is a reasonable, practical or constitutional response to acts of terrorism. As a retired officer, I know that America's men and women in blue want to fight terrorism, to stop terrorists; not waste time keeping records on innocent gun owners!"

I posted a thread a while ago about the pay of engineers and I've been debating which program to go through. I've always thought architecture would be an amazingly rewarding career (even if not so much financially) but engineering (civil/mechanical) has always captivated me as well.

Basically for all the engineers/architects here could you fill me in on your happiness with your job? How it affects your life? Etc etc...

(Worldofwarcraft will post in this I hope :D)

From my experiences with illness and being in the hospital. just from being in the hospital and not being able to eat for about a week and not being able to do any form of physical activity other than walking for about a month i lost 20 pounds of muscle... with brock being much sicker than I and out probably much longer, i have to wonder what exactly is going to happen with his muscle/weight?

even if he is well enough to fight again.. its probably going to take a long time b4 he is back into the physical shape/weight he was b4... what are your guys thoughts? (MOVE TO LHW?)

I'm a huge fan of House, meaning I have seen several seasons starring a vicodin-addicted man as the lead.

Mainly humour, but they have also shown a lot of the "darker" sides to his addiction.

I am in no way familiar with these kinds of drugs, so my question is basically this: is Karo's addiction something similar to House's addiction? (From our limited info.)

I'm thinking Karo must be able to train and function rather normally, it's not life he's living in a cart under some bridge..

I have only been one one blind date and we ended up being really good friends-one of the best looking guys i have ever dated but he wasnt my type. What are your blind date/internet dating stories did you have any happy endings or was the experience a nightmare?
