Fight Promoter University II
Announces Full Financial Aid Package
April 25, 2006: Fight Promoter University President Roy Englebrecht announced today the availability of a full financial aid package for Fight Promoter University II, to be held August 23-25 in Irvine, California. Students who wish to learn about the fight promotions business from Fight Promoter University luminaries ranging from perennial Emmy Award winning broadcaster Jim Lampley, current California Athletic Commission Executive Officer Armando Garcia, Golden Boy Promotions CEO Richard Shaefer, Hall of Fame promoter Don Chargin, managers Jackie Kallen and Lester Bedford, to top MMA promoters, and Top Rank matchmaker Bruce Trampler, can now have the resources to attend.
The full financial aid package to be offered by Ironside Enterprises of Florida will:
1) cover the tuition, travel, and room and board expenses for FPU II; 2) cover the costs of promoting an entire fight promotion for graduating students who wish to promote a fight; 3) cover the one-time fee for a veteran promoter to guide FPU II graduates through every step of their first or next fight promotion.
Ironside Enterprises, Inc. will facilitate the finances that will remove the financial barriers which keep qualified students from learning the fight business from the industry’s best insiders. The decades of experience of FPU II Guest Speakers, and the strong curriculum that will be taught, will help FPU II graduates wisely manage and multiply the $50,000 financial aid package that they will receive. When you think about it, how many students actually graduate from Harvard or Stanford University with enough money in hand to start a business that they just learned, while also having the dean of the university walk them through each step of their new company's first venture? FPU students can learn all about Inside Enterprises and this offer by going to their website at
www.ironsideenterprisesinc.com.
FPU’s student body alumni range from an associate of Manny Pacquiao who came to the first FPU to learn the skills to run his new promotional company, to smaller promoters (a successful club promoter and his wife came from West Virginia to FPU I to take their company to the next level in lieu of the region's growing local casinos), to the nine students who want to become MMA promoters, or the 9 to 5 professionals (such as the several lawyers, school teachers, and middleweight champion Winky Wright's former assistant trainer) who have tinkered with fight promotions for some time now but never took the next step. FPU II future students will now possess the foundation, finances, and expert oversight for the first time in fight history to take their promotional outfit to the next level.
