That's great for Boxing. How does it translate to MMA? That's the question. Are near submissions as serious as a knock down? Are Leg kicks scored like jabs or other blows. Are take downs scored even if you end up in a non dominant position ( like in the Guard)? I know these are not scored as actual points but are they seen as factors that would win a fight?
