Would you rather watch top Muay Thai events or K1?
I am not terribly educated in the kickboxing circuit since I primarily train BJJ with secondary emphasis on boxing. I have become really interested in Muay Thai after my trip to Thailand and to Lumpinee Stadium and I was thinking how much more entertaining straight Muay Thai rules are compared to K1.

What do you guys prefer to watch? I know K1 has the top talent but more restrictive rules. Do you think it would be better if K1 adopted straight Muay Thai rules?

I bought the S1 World Championship 2003 dvd at Lumpinee and really enjoyed it (minus the shitty commentary). Is this one of the biggest Muay Thai events? If not, what is and how is it determined who the best is? I have seen clips of Buakaw (spelling?) and he is fun to watch though I don't know if he is the best or not.
