Ha ha, try a 12 gauge with 3 1/2 inch magnum slugs, if that doesnt get your attention nothing will. About 6 or shots off a bench rest and you will have a bruise the size of a cantelope on your shoulder.
I used to have a remington 800 in .308 i thought it was rather mild recoiling, and I am sure it kicked way harder then a G3, as it was a lightweight bolt gun.
Used to have a .300 win mag, but got rid of it as it wasnt much fun to shoot.
.357 and .44 magnum snubs are also a blast if your into pain and violent recoil.
Of course there is .50 calibers, but I heard with their muzzle brakes and great weight (30 plus pounds) they dont recoil as bad a 12 guage magnum slugs.
