On the hurting of the UFC I think you're absolutely right about the ufc losing its top fighters to TUF guys. Now what I didn't understand completely clear is if you agreed or disagreed with it. I'll assume that since you were talking about it on a hindering of the UFC that you disagree. With this understood I totally agree with you. Matt Lindland should just kick Diegos ass.
As for it being good for the UFC (or MMA as a whole) I think it really is a great idea. It's exposing MMA to the people that might not have ever seen anything like it and definetly has to be brining in some mad revenue.
As for the positives versus the negetives I personaly like the idea of TUF and would love to see it have an infinite number of seasons.
Side noted: I may be completely wrong but based on the way UFC contracts are set up I think Matty Lindland's contract was cancelled after that freak loss when he tried that supley and landed on his neck and Ko'd himself. I think the Ufc signed him to rematch and that was it. He just got screwed thats all. Not that agree with it or anything.
