It could be your shorts. I'm not kidding when I tell you this. I have heard heavier people who run vaseline their inner thighs. As far as weight loss, you can't lose from one area. If you eat less and move more, the extra activity is fueled by body fat and that's how you'll get leaner over time throughout you're entire body.
