The first link doesn't work for me. BTW I'm new to this thread and haven't yet read through all 54 pages O.o but I wanted to hear everyones thoughts on something I use quite often with moderate success. Say, I have my opponent's right leg in half guard. Usually from here I transition to z guard bringing my left shin across his stomach and use this to create space between my opponent and I. I then tuck my right shoulder and roll into inverted guard. Once I invert I find it to be a pretty stable position with my right leg between my opponent's leg and my left leg hooking my opponent's right lat muscle. From here you can begin to work for triangles, etc.
