According to Bruce Lee, you start lose cardio after around a week (around that) which is why he brought his running shoes everywhere.
Personally, if I take a week or so off, the first run does feel a bit harder than normal cardio wise, but after that you won't notice the time off.
1-2 weeks off shouldn't really be anything to worry about cardio wise, you'll be back to normal after 2 workouts.
