DIY: outdoor pullup bars

I thought I'd like to share my homemade pullup bar after seeing this thread: CHINS on the go

I didn't have room in my house to really hang a doorway pull-up bar (although I do have a metolius hangboard in the basement), so I decided to build one of my own outside.

There are two things I really like about it. First is the posture. You start out with a wide grip pull-up and finish with a closer grip chin-up (you can just keep it as pull ups or chinups, but i like the rotation). The other is that the height of the grips are adjustable (i.e. you can have on hand higher than the other to isolate your shoulders).

materials:
1ft pvc pipe, cut in half
6 ft of nylon rope, eventually knotted and trimmed
2 eyelet screws

i can upload a video of them in use if desired. Hope to hear your feedback!
