No one makes that mistake. The UFC's lawyer probably got his hands on this case and reduced the charges for their former fighter, therefore causing all reporting on the subject prior to the new verdict to be incorrect, and in need of edits and appologies. Despite the naysayers, Dana and the UFC would do almost anything to keep a positive report with the public about their fighters and business in general.

let me get this straight... you think dana and his lawyers got the cops to change the drug test results, and ditch the actual evidence?
dana, his lawyers, and the ufc don't have that kind of power, they can certainly plead kimo's case well and get him a reduction but they certainly can't change the charge from meth to weed. it doesn't happen like that, in particular with cases already in the public eye.
