1. Royce Gracie: Changed the entire view of what a "fighter" truly is. Today, BJJ is a major part of every fighter's arsenal.

2. Mark Coleman: One of the most legendary wrestlers in MMA. Made the ground and pound something to be feared.

3. Chuck Liddell: One of the most popular and most dominant fighters in MMA. Next to Tito, he is probably the most recognizable fighter in the sport.

4. Matt Hughes: Before losing to GSP, he was known as the most dominant WW in the history of the sport.

5. Tito Ortiz: One of the first true "entertainers". One of the few athletes that actually understood the business side of MMA and how to market himself. Among non-MMA fans, Tito is probably the most well known fighter.
