I mean, if you're drinking a gallon a day that's about 1380 kcal, then I could see your concern, but if you're drinking that many shakes a day you have some serious issues with your diet other than whether you mix your whey with milk or water.

Understandable man. Yeah I'm pretty much just drinking 1 post workout shake. Gonna do that one without milk and pre I will drink 1 with skim milk. I don't think I'll get too fat since I do my other workouts that i mentioned earlier as well.
