I find Machida pretty boring. I'm not a hater, but i'm a fan of fighters who i enjoy watching and who make exciting fights with sweet subs or KO's, whereas Machida doesn't seem to do much other than outpoint opponents.

My main problem is people putting him in top 5's or even top 3's. Tito and Soko are his biggest wins. Neither are in top 10. Tito used to be awesome but now not many consider him top 10 and Soko was overrated from 2 wins and has since been proven to not be top 10.

You can justify him being lower top 10 but i don't see how anyone could rank him above #7 really.
