Also, don't forget that BJ Penn, the guy that beat Sherk "badly" also destroyed the "always tough" Uno in even more fantastic fashion.

I'm not talking about Sherk's last 5 opponents, I'm talking about his performance in 2008 which is what the ranking system should reflect. But, for the sake of argument:
- As previously mentioned, Sherk hasn't finished an opponent in 3 1/2 years
- The Diaz fight was a razor close decision (and at WW which makes it irrelevant)
- I never suggested that Franca or Griffin were "chumps"
- I did suggest that Sherk can never seem to finish an opponent and his form of "domination" is to constantly go for takedowns or box with pillow hands
- I'd like to see Sherk finish Caol Uno or JZ
Lastly, you bring up BJ Penn's KO of Uno that took place ***SEVEN*** years ago. How the hell is that relevant? And then you conveniently forget the Draw the two had a year and a half later. Anyone who says that Uno isn't an "always tough" opponent needs to reconsider how much they know about the sport.
The bottom line is that there is simply no way I can imagine Aoki not being ranked ahead of Sherk. Hell, Aoki had more fights at LW last year than Sherk has had period!
Anyway, I will stand by my statement that rankings are patently ridiculous. I will also stand by my statement that Aoki has more accolades and has had more success than Sherk at LW career-wise and 2008-wise.
