I got more details from the Russian forums.
Fedor arrived the day before the tournament from Thailand where he is shooting in an action movie ("The fifth commandment") . In Thailand Fedor knocked out one of the stunt man by mistake and the stunt-man did not show up after that.
Fedor did not train at all (this is from an interview before the tournament!). I am worried for his match with Arlovski as he is flying tomorrow (Nov. 17th) back to Thailand where he will continue shooting the movie.
The first comments were that Fedor was very likely jet legged. Blagoi got 4 points for throw and 4 points for keeping Fedor down. Fedor got 1 point for throw and 4 point for knockdown. IMHO Blagoi has zero chances in beating Fedor in mma.
Overall I think that the whole situation has a positive aspect. This is a wake up call for Fedor and I am sure that he will take more time to prepare for Arlovski.
