Its a 4" PVC pipe I believe, I forget. It works well but when my hands get sweaty it gets hard to use, and i dont always have chalk on hand.

i was thinking putting some kinda of athletic tape around it to give it some 'curling' if anything but i dont know if thats the best option. that or use leather gloves when I wrist roll maybe?

serves me well either way. I forget how strong my hands/forearms are to people who dont train grip at all. A friend who lives nearby benches 20-30kg more than his bodyweight but his forearms and grip are weak. He can only close the CoC Trainer for 2-3 reps. I'm working on making him stronger in that department though, we grip train twice a week together now.

and yes, I was a chunky monkey at 125kg. good lord. I think 85kg will be a good weight for me to compete at when i start rolling again.
