I wish I could say this one was mine, but it's a story about a buddy. He had the same deal you've got going, they'd been friends for a little while but hadn't seen each other for awhile and when they met up again he looked her dead in the eyes and said he wasn't interested in being her friend, he wanted to have sex with her. Didn't flinch either, total confidence, and the deal was sealed, couldn't believe it.
Not a bad approach though now that I think of it, ballsy as fuck with a chance to make things awkward, but he genuinely didn't care to be her friend anymore, i think anyway, and I guess that made her want him - or something.
One time I was in a bar and I tried a pick up line on a girl that has relevance here:
This girl jokingly tried to steal one of my shot glasses before my friend and I took the shots we had bought, and I said "I only buy shots for my friends" kind of more aggressively than I had intended too.
Shes like "meh, okay" and I go "so, you wanna be friends" and she goes "no" so I said "awesome, so that means you want to be more than friends?"
she laughed, I was proud I thought quickly; didn't seal the deal though. Sigh.
