spiderman is a shit franchise IMO. Barely entertaining, I wouldn't even watch 1-3 on cable. The batman series are far and away the best comic franchise out there. Dark Knight isn't a masterpiece, but most big budget "block busters" are terrible and damn near un-watchable. Dark Night is excellent compared to the competition.
I haven't seen iron man yet but I here it is good.
