rice and bean diet

Poor mans diet.

I am going to try eating a diet high in very cheap food such as beans and rice. All beans are organic. Mostly kidney and black beans. I actually don't eat much rice, but if I do it will be brown of long grain wild rice.

I also eat many salads, with raw and organic vegetables + balsamic vinegar dressing. I eat a few eggs a day, mostly hard boiled.

So basically the idea is to eat as cheaply as possible, but support the need to maintain a high level of fitness. I train kickboxing/mma 4 days a week. Lift twice a week. Hike and stuff.

I take many vitamins too, and fish/flax oil. I would like to drop body fat, not necessarily lose weight. Can a diet comprised mainly of rice/beans support such goals? Rice/beans are so cheap.
